Past Lives is a subject that not everyone believes in or wants to know about, but for those that do believe in the existence of them, then their current life can make much more sense. For most of us there are questions about our lives (and usually about our childhoods) that we never receive answers for or are able to work out. Some people have issues in their life that they struggle with or cannot come to grips with. Some have childhood issues that they would like to work thru, have answers to or resolve. Past lives can offer answers and bring resolution to some of life’s concerns, worries or pain.

There are many Psychics that specialize in past life readings, therapy or regression. Some use Meditation techniques to help bring issues forward others can simply pick up on subtle signs of a past life. For some people that Meditate on a regular basis they can sometimes see or sense things during their meditation that they may not necessarily remember in their waking state.

There are also specific practitioners who specialize in Past Life Regression. This can be very heavy going, so be sure you are up to it and can handle what may come out of it. It is also said that sometimes our most recent past life can be picked up and read in our Aura. Crystals can play a part in remembering a past life, the most utilized for this are; Herkimer Diamond, Lapis Lazuli, Black Obsidian, Black Tourmaline and Orange Carnelian.

Past Lives are also linked to Reincarnation and Karma. Our Karmic debts good and bad follow us thru every life until there is balance, and this is why past life actions can reflect this life. Thru reincarnation we clear our karmic debts, life by life. So in essence things that we experience in this life, especially if it is repetitive, can be because we didn’t solve it in a previous past life.

Psychics and Clairvoyants often pick up on issues that are based in a past life and can talk to you about it and help you work thru it. Please note, it is not only bad karma or past life issues that can have a bearing on this life, much of the wonderful, selfless, good things we do in our past lives follows us thru too. I have come across many people who believe that only bad karma or unresolved issues follow them thru their reincarnations but that is not true, the good follows you too. For instance you may know someone who seems to have allot of accurate medical knowledge and can sprout off medical jargon yet they have never studied medicine! It just seems to come out of nowhere……. It is suggested in Metaphysical fields that maybe that person was a doctor, surgeon or nurse in a past life, so if they were a doctor in a past life, it’s a good thing and could certainly come in handy in this life! Yes….

I have heard of cases where people have been able to resolve issues they are having in this life by going into a Past Life Regression and coming to terms with things that transpired in maybe one or more of their past lives. Please note, past life regression should only be done by a therapist that specializes in it and is confident in the process. Be sure before you go ahead with a regression session, it can bring out information you are not ready for or equipped to cope with, it is wise to do your homework first as a good regression therapist should have a certificate to prove their validity.

Looking into past lives is not for everyone, some people would prefer to leave well enough alone but for others it can dissipate years of pain, stress, anxiety and unanswered questions. It can make sense of certain difficulties and why we have to go thru some of what we do and then help us move forward with this life……

Some in the new age movement liken the subconscious to being an advanced computer system with a never ending hard drive that stores all we have ever done, dreamt, thought about, learnt and loved etc. This information can be retrieved at any time if we so wish and if we believe we can! This can be done by hypnosis or past life regression. Please note: both should be done by a professional therapist who knows what they are doing, especially when it comes to past life regression as this can bring out things you may not be ready for.

Every thought we have ever had, every dream etc resides within the subconscious mind, forever and throughout every reincarnation. When we go into a deep meditation this is the part of our mind that we tap into. It is said this is the same when we are tapping into making contact with our spirit guides and even deceased loved ones.

Unlike the conscious mind which is our thinking mind that we use when we are awake and active, the subconscious takes in absolutely everything in a phenetical fashion (exactly as it is). For example: If you say to yourself “I will jump off this building and fly!” Then that is the way that subconscious hears and accepts it and it stays processed that way in the subconscious mind forever. Where-as the conscious mind would go ballistic if you had a thought like that and you would hear yourself thinking, “get real you idiot! You jump of that building and you will end up a pancake on the footpath below!”

The conscious mind is the ego mind, the power that will reason, manipulate, argue and change until the cows come home……. It is the part of our mind that we do have control of to a large degree if we are strong enough and disciplined.

The subconscious mind we cannot control, it is exact and remembers all and everything. It is the part that we dream with and where our dreams evolve from; that’s why our dreams can seem so real, so vivid and sometimes not seem to make sense at all, but they do to the subconscious……. as our dreams are quite literal to the subconscious and it shows us the pictures in our dreams the way it sees them. Our dreams often do not make sense to us in our awake state, but they are an exact science as the subconscious sees and catalogues them.

Whilst we sleep the subconscious sifts thru the day’s thoughts, activities and collection of information, and stores it.

It is thought and believed that the subconscious goes on forever throughout every life we are reincarnated into; much like the infinite universe that is far reaching and never-ending. So next time you are going back on past memories give a brief thought to the advanced computer system that man will never surpass…….. Your subconscious mind.

How we use our mind is up to us and we do have alot of control over it if we choose to do so; much of what we think about can ultimately be a basis for potential growth or can hold us back or even cause us to procrastinate.

Those who have problems with decision making are usually procrastinators who say to themselves, “should I?”, “Can I?”, “maybe I should wait.” Whilst others with a positive mind set will say, “yes I will have a go!” “Why not I’m a risk taker!” Where-as others in the middle of both these scenarios may retreat after much thought and say, “I really want to but what if?”

The what if’s are based on past history that your conscious mind can’t or will not let go of for the fear of history repeating itself. These people usually have low self esteem and more than not suffer in silence with depression and poor body image.

Our conscious mind can control us to the extent that it hinders our life and can make some days a chore just to get through. It really comes down to how we have been programmed, usually since early childhood, or what we tell ourselves or worse yet, allow other people to tell us or have us believe. Or it can help us over come any and all obstacles and move us thru life without hindrance, to see us achieve everything we desire.

The power of our mind is a powerful thing and we can over-ride that which holds us back or stifles us. For some people stepping out onto the breach of the unknown is seen as an adventure, for others it can be terrifying and may well be easier to obey the mind, retreat and stay back from the breach for fear of the unknown.

Harnessing the power of our conscious mind is easy if you can be positive and confident, and just have a go! Alot of people today do not like to step out of their comfort zone, choosing to stay with that which puts/ keeps the mind at rest. Your thinking mind can make you feel wonderful or lousy and self worth is another trait that can be conditioned by the conscious thinking mind. This can become trapped within the confines of the subconscious mind if it goes on for years without resolve or effective treatment.

Our conscious mind is a wonderful part of our human experience and we could not function at all without it. It sends signals and messages throughout the bodies systems constantly, managing everything from breathing to sleeping. Whilst asleep it does take a bit of a break to rest and recuperate and this is where the subconscious mind tends to kick in. The conscious ‘ego’ mind brings us great joy, understanding, empathy, intuition, lessons, pleasure and wondrous, boundless, exciting experiences and expectations of life and living. The more we use it in a positive effective manner the better our lives will be and can be.

Angels or Guardians as they are sometimes referred to are in essence, very real for some people; whether you believe in Angels or not, is not an issue or even relevant in life, it is what you find comfort in and recognize as Angelic in your existence/ life……

In New Age circles Angelic Beings are looked upon as light entities that have never had an earthly incarnation, where-as Spirit Guides are said to have had one or many earth reincarnations. Some people will say they feel or sense Angelic energy around them in times of stress, anxiety, pain, trauma, disharmony, illness and also in happy times.

Angels have been around since the dawn of time; admired, revered, painted and prayed to, they have taken on great recognition through the ages. Churches are adorned with their ethereal presence, children are blessed into life with a Guardian angel to watch over and guide them thru life. Every walk of life will speak of Angelic Beings whether it is believed that they exist in reality or purely in essence.

Some will speak of Angel sightings, interventions, guidance, protection and as companions in life, to give reassurance and light in difficult times. Just asking for An Angel of help can bring you just that, if you believe in what you are asking for; is it purely luck that gives you the help you ask for? Is it Angelic intervention? Or is it that you just believed in what you were asking for? Whatever it was, does it really matter, it is the outcome that is relevant….

Do I believe in Angels? Well, I believe in the ethereal energy of a light being as I have often called on one for guidance, protection and help many times throughout my life time. I have felt the delicate energy of something in times of trauma, desperation, loneliness and depression. Many times I have asked for protection or guidance and then have trusted in my heart that it will be; and yes, it has always been there for me.

I have been with family members as they move thru the last stage of living (dying) and have sensed beautiful, gentle energy within the confines of the room. Those that are preparing to pass over do find comfort and love in feeling that there may be Angels there with them to guide them on their final journey.

Children find comfort and re-assurance in knowing they have a Guardian Angel to love and protect them through their childhood. I remember talking to what I thought were Fairies when I was little and now as an adult I will still turn to the essence of light and love termed as Angelic.

Psychics and Clairvoyants will sometimes refer to an Angel in their readings whether it is an Ethereal Angel, or an Earth Angel. An Earth Angel is a term given to those people in life that are considered Light Workers; those who give their life and time helping others, volunteer workers, goodwill volunteers etc.

One of the most notable authors on the subject of Angels, Arch-Angels and Light Workers is Doreen Virtue. I have read many of her beautiful books and she also does seminars and teachings in many countries. Many Psychic readers also use her Angel Oracle Cards.

Whatever you believe in, pray to, find comfort in, why not incorporate Angels into your life……. What do you have to lose? You may find they bring something light and re-assuring into your daily life; and if nothing else, you never have to feel alone, in life or when passing from this life.

A healthy Soulmind is as it sounds a healthy soul and a healthy mind combined, this makes for a better healthy life. Many people do not think about or register with the balance between the two and how the collective Soulmind can relate to your complete all round wellbeing. Your soul is your universal essence, your spirit, your very being and your body is the vehicle that your soul travels in whilst in this incarnation. In the case of eating disorders it is suggested that the soul and mind are not working in unison and harmony. If the mind is tormented with things like depression, stress and anxiety and the body is being starved of nutrition then there is the real threat of the body and mind breaking down and resulting in an eating disorder.

When there is imbalance, disharmony or disease within the body then it affects the soul essence and the longer the imbalance is allowed to continue the unhealthier the soul and body can become. If you look at the word disease it really makes sense as far as the effect on your body and a healthy Soulmind. If you break the word down it is two words dis-ease and that is it in a nut shell. It means the body is in dis-ease or dis-harmony which causes unrest.

When the mind is also disturbed, stressed, worried or suffering mental illness then that combined with the unrest or disrupted soul can potentially see a person unwell and their health at risk.

Now in saying all that the combination of the Soulmind can work to great benefit to aid a person suffering illness and if the will or determination is strong enough then even some terminal illness can be put in remission or life expectancy prolonged. I know of two women from two different walks of life that over came the real threat of dying early purely by changing their life and the way they thought!

The first woman was the mother of a dear friend of mine; her mum was told at the age of 48 that she only had 6-12months at best to live due to breast cancer that had spread to other parts of the body. She had surgery to remove the breasts but was told it had already spread and that there was little else they could to for her. So she had the chemotherapy and radiation treatments and still they said it was too late and that she should enjoy what life she had left. In that moment something snapped in her brain and she virtually told the doctors that she wasn’t ready to die and she would survive to see her young grand children grow up! Her essence of the Soulmind kicked in, her determination to survive, the reality of emanate death was real and she said “stuff it I’m not going anywhere anytime soon!”

The Soulmind Power of her intention was so resolved that to this day (12years later) she is still alive and well and to the doctors amazement still in full remission. Her grandchildren have grown up and she has two great grand children and one on the way. She completely changed her way of living and more importantly her way of thinking. She went completely organic, moved out of the city to country living, performed daily meditation, lost weight, always maintained happy thought processes, kept her distance from negative people and influence and most of all stuck with positive thought, always, never giving into the thoughts of disease or dying.

Her Soulmind essence was and is an inspiration to me every day and I tell her story to those who have lost hope. Our Soulmind is a powerful force if only we have the determination to tap into it and be strong and positive. It is a hard thing for most of us to do but I have seen it done and proven to work.

The other woman I know is a close girlfriend of mine who was told she had a cancerous cyst that had to be removed. She too survived by using the same positivity in her life. I’m not saying it can or will work for everyone but its certainly worth trying rather than just giving in and giving up. These two women are an inspiration to the determination to survive against the odds. I am honoured to know them both and grateful for their existence in my life, their inspiration has helped me thru some very difficult times. Love and blessings to them both.

The Magic Of Making Up

Soulmates have a strong Empathy bond they can feel when something is not quite right with the other. When one is thinking about the other they both usually pick up on the Energy of one another. For example, when the phone rings and one of you say that you have been thinking about the other and the other says that they felt something may have been wrong or happening and that is why they are ringing! It is just a feeling you get or you just know the other person is thinking about you!

Soulmates can be your mother, father, sister or brother, actually any family member that you have a closer, higher level connection with. Most women have a “Soul Sister” someone they are very close to and confide in, someone that they have the upmost trust in and respect for.

Karma also produces Soulmate connections, someone we have spent other lifetimes with and have come together again to work out mutual karma in this Reincarnation. These are called Karmic Relationships they are lives that we have shared with the same person before and still have karmic issues to resolve. These are Past Lives that still have a connection due to the karmic debt not being balanced in previous lives. These relationships will continue to connect life after life until the issues are worked thru, resolved and a balance is found. Past Lives quite frequently come into soul connections and have alot to do with why we link with the people we do.

Karmic relationships can be a very strong attraction and usually come with volatile baggage. The karma they both share is difficult, painful and sometimes violent, but still requires the two souls to work thru it to find a harmonious resolution. If they don’t then they will be reincarnated again into another life to work it out at some stage in their evolution.

Soulmates can be a love connection with the love in your life, but rarely. Husbands and wives will often say they are a soulmate, sometimes they are and sometimes they are not, alot would like to think or feel they are and that is ok. I have found that the strongest soul connections are with tried and true friends that never let you down, criticise or judge you. They just accept you the way you are and everything you come with warts and all……

Some Psychics and Clairvoyants can pick up on a person past life or lives during a reading, if they feel a strong connection around you they will usually make mention of it at some stage throughout the reading, or ask you about the energy they are tuning into. We also have Soul connections with animals especially long term pets that we are attached too.

In my opinion Soulmates are rare and if you do have that connection with someone then you should cherish it and be grateful for that special Soul connection in your life.

“What goes around Comes around!” How many of us have heard that phrase at some stage throughout our life…. How true it is…. For those of us that believe in Karma, it keeps us walking the straight line. We also tend to notice more examples of it when it comes around to some-one who is not expecting it or thinks they are exempt. The Law of Karma is an exact science in our Universe that balances the bar between good and bad. It is the companion to Reincarnation, which is the Soul’s life cycles. Being reincarnated (or re-born into a new life) gives our Soul the necessary lives to work thru and balance our Karmic debts. This in turn, elevates us thru our evolution to one day align with our Higher Self, Higher Consciousness, and one life time is not enough for this to transpire.

It’s not all about the bad debt tho, we attract as much good reward as well, it is all up to us and how we live our life (lives). You no doubt have also heard the saying “they live a charmed life” or “luck follows them wherever they go” it is the scenario of the wheel of karma, if you live an honest, good life and do right by others, then good karma will come your way. If you go down the road of deception and harm to others, then karmic debt will also find you.

This is the way our Soul/ Spirit learns the lessons of the Universe and of life. So in essence, we really are the masters of our destiny and creation of new life. We determine our fate by how we live, the choices we make, the people we align ourselves with, our feelings, our thoughts, our words.

In the Metaphysical and Psychic fields, we are often asked “why is this happening to me?” It can be a myriad of different scenarios in which people ask this question, and it is sometimes very hard to say that it may actually be because of something they have done, said or thought at some previous time in this life, let alone the past life/lives. Sometimes we may ask them to think about what has been transpiring in their life. It is a tough modality to explain to some-one who simply does not believe in Karma, or does not think it applies to them, so we have to be sensitive to that. Those of us in the New Age field do tend to believe in it tho and do our best to explain it through talks and lectures that are held at fairs and New Age Festivals.

It is said that for most of us, there are many lives, maybe hundreds, even thousands….. One life may be as short as a few minutes or as long as living into your 80′s or 90′s. What I am about to write is such a delicate subject and it is my belief, so please note it is not to influence any one’s belief structure or system……. It is suggested that maybe the circle of Reincarnation and Karma is an explanation for the loss of newborns and infants. I actually helped a dear friend thru her grieving process of a still born child by explaining this circle of life. I offered her the thoughts that the infant may have completed its karmic circle and thus had its last reincarnation with her for those few months.

That child may have only had those few months left to complete, so when that time is due then that tiny Soul returns to its Soul Circle, never to be reincarnated into an earthly existence again. This is the same whether it is a few minutes, hours, days, months or years. A person may have 91yrs, 8mths, 7days, 3hours and 2 minutes of their karmic lives left to complete, and when that time passes, then they too, will pass over never to reincarnate. It is even suggested that they go on to be Spirit Guides for those that are living. I know it is a hard scenario to get one’s head around, but to someone who is grieving, sometimes, it can help.

Karma is a structure that is being discussed more openly and more people seem to believe in its law. I have even heard someone say that there are three certainties in life that we don’t escape; taxes, death and karma…….

For me, I do believe in the Law of Karma and do my best to live by it…….

The subject of Reincarnation seems to fall into two categories, believers and non believers. Rarely do I come across a person who sits on the fence with the idea, and occasionally have had the odd comedian that will say, “If I die before you and come back as Cleopatra, I will let you know! I fall into the first category, I do believe in reincarnation. I believe we have all had, and are still to have, many lives.

In Metaphysics/ New Age lectures, we are told that we have come from ‘ Soul Circles’ and depending on the evolution of lives you have lived, determines what Soul Circle you come from and go back too. Every single person you come into contact with (in this life) no matter how brief an encounter it is you have had with them, you will have known them at least once before in a previous life. The main people that you share this life with (your family, loves, friends) you will have had play a major part in many other lives before and you will have evolved over time with them. It is even suggested that, maybe your mother in this life may have been a sister or grandmother in a previous life!

I have been to many talks and lectures at New Age and Psychic festivals over the years and the subject of reincarnation is always something that people have many questions about, and keep the lecturer tied up with, long after the lecture is over. Reincarnation has links to the Law of Karma, good and bad. So it is said, whatever we fail to do, correct, or live in one life, will be repeated in another, and so on, until the slate is clean. So in essence; If you live your life doing wrong or hurting others, you will surely come back in the next life and have the lessons served up to you again and again, until you get it right, or pay the piper, so to speak. It comes back to the Law of Karma, which the Metaphysical community say is an exact science that no-one gets around or away from! Maybe you have heard the following; what goes around, comes around…… Cause and Effect….. That which you sow, so shall you reap…… All are related to Karma.

I am a believer of Karma also, and I feel if more people believed in it then it would keep more of us on the straight and narrow, or at the very least give us something to think about. I have read many books on the subject and so much of it seems to make sense to me. It has been suggested that near death experiences are also linked to karma, in the way that a person gets a second chance. It is worth noting that those who do have a near death experience, usually change their life in a big way Alot of people are of the belief that karma is only dealt out on the bad stuff we do, this is not the case, it just seems most people only remember the bad. Karma is also served for all the good things we do, one good turn deserves another, so they say……

To give you an example; about three months ago, an elderly lady was 20c short for her grocery at a Coles supermarket and I was behind her and offered her the money, she was amazed at this simple act and thanked me for the 20c. About 10days later I was returning an item of clothing at Big W, when the cashier asked me for the 5c so she could round the return money up to $15, I didn’t have a 5c piece in my purse and a lady waiting in line behind me, offered the 5c, I in turn, was grateful for the offer, and commented to her that it’s not something you see people do much these days! Her reply was that she had just had a nice person save her a car park, and that one good deed deserves another! It may only be something very small, but I haven’t forgotten that nice person for her 5c……..

I have a girlfriend who always puts herself out for others and never minds a bit. She has more good luck (karma) than anyone I know. She is a gifted Psychic/ Clairvoyant and often does readings for free for those who really need it and can’t afford one. I have never come across a Clairvoyant that does not believe in Reincarnation or Karma.

Depending on your karmic checklist and what the Universe has in store for you, as to how many times you will have to be reincarnated. You also have a choice as to what path you wish to fill and what karma you need to complete. The further up the evolutionary ladder we climb, the more we fulfil and the better Souls we become, the more karmic debt we erase. This is where the process of “it’s some ones time to go” is also said to come into effect. They have completed this reincarnation and it is time to go back to their ‘Soul Circle’. It can, and I have, helped a grieving person by explaining this to them and that the Soul of their loved one is ok.

Have you ever met someone and thought that you already know them? That there is something strangely familiar about them and you instantly feel very comfortable in their presence? Or you keep having dealings with the same person/ people; they just seem to be where you are? Deja’vue, is it? Or have these people been reincarnated with you…… There are also the cases of people who say “why does this stuff keep happening to me?” Maybe there is a real reason; they just need to think about what they may have done at some stage. Is it just a case of good/bad luck……

No matter what we believe, for me, it is a nice thought that Reincarnation may exist. That we will share ongoing life experiences with those we love. We don’t remember past lives……. Or do we? Some of us certainly bring some strong hints of the past with us…….

Mirror Mirror

In my personal Spiritual work, Spirit Guides to me are usually someone who has been in your life or had a big impact on your life. I had an uncle, whom I was very fond of, pass away in 1990 after a long battle with cancer, and even all these years later, I still know and can feel him around me. The biggest give away that he is close by is when I get the faint smell of the old fashioned hair oil that men used back in the 50′s and 60′s called Californian Poppy. My uncle still used it in the 70′s, but it hasn’t been available (to my knowledge) since then. So when I sense that, then I know he is with me, guiding me, offering comfort, usually at difficult times in my life. He has also been picked up as being my guide when I had a psychic/ spiritual reading done, some years ago.

For alot of people though, Spirit Guides are/ can be total strangers, or so they think…… the guide usually goes back many, many generations or life times, in which the person has no knowledge or memory of. For others, their guide may be, to them, an Angel, that they feel is watching over them. There is a difference between Spirit Guides and Angels. Guides have had an earthly incarnation, at some stage, and for some, many incarnations. Angels are light beings that have never had an earthly experience as humans and never will. They are pure Celestial entities that take on human likeness, so that we can recognize them. But again, if you wish to call your Guide an Angel or any other Celestial form, that is ok.

For those of us that believe in Spirit Guides, we know that we only have to ask for help or protection, believe and trust in what we are asking for, and most times, within reason, it will transpire. If we are silly about it and ask, for instance, to win lotto, 99.99% chance it’s not going to happen. When it is something genuine and sincere , then it is more likely. To give you a positive instance; Back in the mid 90′s I asked my guides for help in directing me on the right path of Metaphysical teaching to access more knowledge. I asked that I would recognize it when it came to me and that it would be available within the next 6 weeks. Yes it came, within 3 weeks, in the form of a Meditation Course. During that 10 week course, a Spirit Guide came to me in deep Meditation, someone I had been in school with in 1968. Her name was Cheryl and she died when we were only 6 years old. She had led me to the Meditation course.

That was a very powerful turning point for me and I will never forget it or that little girl. She told me that I had protected her at school when the other kids were cruel to her throughout her illness and that I hugged her when she cried. Approximately 26 years later, she came back to me in that Meditation to say thank you.

So for me, Spirit Guides are there, and I know many people that believe in theirs also. Your guides can be called upon when you are learning or putting to use an Alternate Therapy or Healing. As in my case, Meditation is the perfect Modality for a Spirit Guide to come thru and quite often do. You can go into a Meditation asking that if your guide is present, can they please make themselves known. Also when you are having a Reiki or Crystal Healing, a Guide will often be present. I am a Reiki practitioner and have sensed energy with myself and the person I am doing the healing on. I assume it is the person’s Guide or Angel with them, while they are with me.

For some people, especially those who are alone, it can be a reassuring feeling to know they are not quite alone. Guides can present themselves as pure energy, to help or guide you in a time of need. It is also said that no-one ever dies alone, and for those in transit from this life, that to, can be reassuring. I would like to think that is the case…..

It's not just Advice

Just as an exercise, try sitting somewhere peaceful and out in the open (I find sitting outside with my back against a large tree works for me) try and clear your mind if you can, take a few deep breathes and relax. In your mind or if you feel comfortable, speak out loud, ask if your Spirit Guide (or if you prefer, Angel) is with you, and if so, who might they be? Repeat your question several times slowly. Then relax and take notice of anything that filters thru your mind. It may be a distant memory, person, word, name, scene or something that you have no memory of. You may see an image of someone you don’t know or even an animal or pet. You may sense energy, smell a scent, even have a sudden craving for a type of food. One or more can be an indication of who your Guide is. If you feel comfortable, speak with your guide, or simply give thanks and resume with your day.

The more you relax and trust in what you are doing, the more it will prove itself to you. When I started on my Spiritual journey, 20 years ago, I was a skeptic, (big time!) I told the Universe (or The Guys Upstairs, as I call them) that ‘this stuff’ had to prove itself to me if I was ever going to work in the Metaphysical field! For me, truly, it has. I have put many Alternate Metaphysics to the test, and been quite stern in my request for proof, and over time, much has come thru.

I have found the more we trust and believe in what we are doing, learning and striving for, the more it will come to fruition. There are some great books on the market on Spirit Guides, how to meet and work with them. I have read some wonderful books in my early years of Spiritual Metaphysics and Alternate Therapy that guided me along the right path.

“see the light”

The Aura, what is it and do we all have one? The simple answer is, yes we do all have one, it is our electrical energy field that surrounds our human body. Everything that has an atomic structure has an aura. Each and every atom is made up of electrons and protons that are always in constant movement. Protons and electrons are magnetic and electrical energy. Today’s science has taught us that our human body is composed of energy fields, these include; magnetic, electrical and light fields also sound, heat and electromagnetic fields. The aura including the human aura is 3 dimensional. Metaphysics describes the aura as having 7 levels or layers, the first 3 levels closest to the body are the densest and the other 4 become lighter and more ethereal as they radiate out from your body. It is said that it can radiate from 6feet up to 10 feet out and around the body and this can be seen through kirlian photography.

The first 3 levels closest to the body are the most protective layers, the ones that come in close and hug the body when there is illness, fear or trauma. The healthier you are both physically and spiritually, then the more vibrant and extended your energy field will be, and the more energized and outgoing you are likely to be. The stronger it is, the stronger and fitter you will feel and less likely to be affected by negative energy or forces. Studies on the Aura say that the weakened aura is a result or reflection of many of life’s different problems, whether it be health, or an ineffective lifestyle or environmental factors. Our auric energy interacts with that of others and also with the animal and plant kingdoms.

Everyone has a unique Aura and some are more interactive than others. For instance I consider myself an Empath, I am energy sensitive and feel and sense alot of what goes on around me. Many years ago I would become drained of energy and quite literally be tired for days. Then I came to realise it was only when I was around certain people in my life that I felt this way. I started to implement several healing therapies/modalities into my life to protect my sensitive energy and also to re-energise myself. My studies in Metaphysics were also intensifying at the time and I started to learn about the Aura and how to protect it. Instructional studies on Meditation, the Chakra System and Crystal Healing, came in very handy.

"See the Light"

Have you ever walked into a room and felt instantly uncomfortable or that something is not quite right? Have you ever taken an instant dislike to someone and not know why? Have you felt drained, tired or unwell when you have been around certain people? Have you ever sensed or felt another person’s presence before you see them? These are instances of picking up on someone’s auric energy. As I said before, some of us will be more sensitive to these things than others, but if you feel your Aura’s energy is being drained, there is a simple protective and healing technique you can do where ever you are. Stop, take a deep breath, close your eyes (if your able to) and envisage (in your mind) that you have a large white strong bubble of light around you, see it glow and pulsate as you breathe, ask that this bubble protect you and give you light and energy. Then (and this is the important bit) believe and trust in your protection and it will be there……
